Big Update: A Fresh New Look for the Releasit COD Form & Upsells App Menu
We've redesigned the Releasit COD Form & Upsells app menu from the ground up. The new layout is more logical, more organized, and far easier to navigate, so you can find and use the features you need without hunting through settings.
This restructure also gives us the foundation to roll out more of your most-requested features in the months ahead. Here is everything that has changed.

Form Designer
The Form Designer has been restructured into three distinct sections, giving you more precise control over each part of your COD checkout setup:
- Buy Button. Customize the Buy Now button on your product or cart page. Adjust the design, text, and colors to match your store's branding and improve conversion rates.
- Form Designer. Fine-tune every detail of your Cash on Delivery (COD) form, from input fields to layout and colors, to create a checkout experience that feels natural and on-brand.
- Shipping Rate Section. Set up and manage shipping rates based on location, weight, or other conditions, all in one centralized place.
Fraud Prevention
Protecting your transactions is a core priority. This section has been expanded with new layers of security to reduce fake orders and fraudulent activity before any shipping cost is incurred:
- Blocking by Email, Phone, and IP. Blacklist known fraudulent users so they cannot place orders in your store again.
- SMS OTP Verification. Require a one-time password via SMS before confirming a COD order, confirming that the phone number is real and the buyer intends to complete the purchase.
- New CAPTCHA. Added protection against bots and automated form submissions.
Delivery Success
Fewer delivery errors mean fewer returns. This section brings together all the tools that help orders reach customers correctly and keep buyers informed throughout the process:
- Address Validation by Google. Reduce delivery errors with automatic address suggestions as customers type, particularly useful for mobile orders.
- SMS Notifications. Keep customers updated with order confirmation, shipping updates, and delivery alerts sent directly to their phone.
- Order Confirmation via Call or WhatsApp. Currently in testing, this feature will be available to all paying merchants in the coming months. Verify orders through direct calls or WhatsApp messages to reduce cancellations before dispatch.
Sales Booster
Every COD order is an opportunity to increase revenue. The Sales Booster groups all revenue-boosting features in one section:

Upsells & Downsells.
- Offer an extra product with a single click after purchase.
- Let customers add items with a simple checkbox before submitting their order.
- Suggest lower-cost alternatives if a customer abandons the form mid-way.
- Quantity Offers. Encourage bulk purchases with automatic discounts such as "Buy 2, Get 10% Off."
- Abandoned Cart Recovery. Automatically follow up with customers via email or SMS to recover orders that were not completed.
Analytics
Track key performance metrics and make data-driven decisions with a clear overview of your COD form performance:
- Form views, order count, and conversion rate.
- UTM tracking for marketing campaigns, so you know exactly which channels are driving COD orders.
- Revenue and Average Order Value (AOV) insights to monitor growth over time.

- Visibility. Choose exactly where the form appears and which customers see it.

FAQs
1. Will my existing settings be affected by the menu redesign?
No. This is a navigation and layout update only. All your existing configurations, form settings, integrations, and data remain exactly as they were. The only thing that has changed is where you find things inside the app.
2. When will Order Confirmation via Call or WhatsApp be available?
This feature is currently in testing and will be rolled out to all paying merchants in the coming months. We will announce the release through the app and on the blog.
3. Where is the Google Sheets integration now?
The Google Sheets integration is now located within the Settings & Integrations section, alongside pixel tracking, visibility controls, and other supported integrations.
4. Does the abandoned cart recovery feature require additional setup?
Yes. You need to enable it from the Sales Booster section within the app. Once enabled, you can configure follow-up messages via email or SMS and set the send timing. Full setup instructions are covered in the abandoned cart recovery guide.
